Oh yes!!! I am thrilled, we have been in development for quite some time and getting there. This new site will be a road map of sorts for all you creative sewers. I am a linen freak as you know and lots of new patterns in linen, silk, voile, cotton, jersey, rayon, you name it.....
We have been creating some amazing apparel patterns for you, and some freebys to get you started on the lavender road to building a complete Tina Givens wardrobe.
We've dabbed into the 'anthropologie' style ink pot for a little younger flavor for some colorful alternatives and amazing works of art to wear. You are going to luuu-uuu---vvvve!
And the best part - these sewing patterns are downloadable for quick access. We know you have that fabric stash, and we know you get the urge... who has time to wait! Although I love a printed pattern and getting it in the mail is special but.... downloadable speaks to me.
This is no ordinary sewing sight my angels. We are unique in that way. And as a fabric designer, my own fabrics don't always work in my garment sewing. I prefer all kinds of substrates and mixing those materials is part of the TG flavor!
See one of our inspiration boards! So there will be a little something for everyone! Watch for news. Subscribe above for updates on when the site goes live! Can't wait to share with you.

Dovecote Inspiration
In preparing for Portland Quilt Market, we create new items and use the new fabrics in our sewing patterns. I am so excited about this bright and happy collection, it really is lovely. Inspired by dove imagery, a Dovecote and sunny days.
In preparing for a display at the trade show I am developing a unique applique quilting project for quilts or wall hangings. My inspiration for this part of sharing Dovecote I am using my everyday life's events. I am redoing Amelia's bedroom this summer and she loves the fabrics... wow! She's 10 and a bustling ball of energy, giggles and growth spurts! Soon to be 11 in June! So of course, quilts, wall hangings and more.
My PRAIRIE SLIP for women sewing pattern is outselling all patterns and so I have Dovecote fabrics selected just for that pattern! Introducing new patterns featuring the fabrics and throwing new Dovecote energy into the existing patterns. My apparel collection debuted last year and we use solid linens but we also use my fabrics designed for WFI FreeSpirit Fabrics and I am having a blast sharing these with women who don't sew. For you lucky ladies who do I have been so fortunate and encouraged to share the collection through sewing patterns for you!
This imagery is a small taste of what is to come. And if you are a store and coming to Portland please come and see it all at the WFI booth. I will be doing more blog posts as we make headway into the new sewing pattern photography, new downloadable printable posters for your store, and an amazing slew of freeby QUILT projects. I can't wait. In the meantime, enjoy and stay tuned for ongoing news.
Hugs from me,

| Prairie Linen Slip Sewing Pattern | (women) |

Me
Latest pic of me wearing the Prairie Slip in fabrics from Pernilla's Journey. I used the Prairie Slip pattern but lengthened it in the body a tad and the skirts. Skirts I cut 13" wide for the top skirt, and the underskirt 15" wide. If you have the pattern you will know what I am talking about.
I love this dress! And I can't wait to see it in my new fabric collection called DOVECOTE. Here's a sneak peak... I chose these 3 for a fresh take on the dress! Dovecote shows at Quilt Trade Market in Portland in May. Come see my spot in the Westminster Fibers booth.... + new sewing patterns of course!

Happy Orange Halloween
If people had genuine courage, they'd wear their costumers everyday of the year, not just on Halloween.

First 3 people to comment, win the Prairie Dress sewing pattern... come on now!

FORTINY
Introducing Fortiny. a new quilt fabric collection by me.
History, culture and a magical place converge in this fabric group. I think the scale is unpredictable for me ~ and it's designed to blend. There are two distinct color palettes - inspired by the mountains and African coastal gardens by the sea.
My great Aunty Fortiny lives in such a place where, in fact two oceans meet and are punctuated with an enormous bracket of mountains. This historical place, since the early 1900s, is flavored by two unique vegetation patterns - from the steep mountainous plains; and amazing coastal plumage along the seashore. Inspired to create a palette representing both, I called one Oasis and the other palette, Train Window.
Beautiful aunty Fortiny has spent her life in Africa, she has seen the world and is an amazing story teller. She now resides as the oldest of her family in a quiet and astounding village by the sea. Sadly, Aunty has become blind and can not see the beauty that surrounds her, but she valiantly expresses her opinion and loudly maintains, rightly so, her position as matriarch of our lovely family. It is her spirit and celebration of the past, in this old place that I created a fabric collection. I hope it inspires a quilt or two for your collection.
