Sewing Patterns Article

Sew News Magazine featured a few designers and that although we design quilt weight fabric, there are many other uses... such as clothing, bags and more.... Nice article, thanks Linda Lee.
A lot of designers ask me why I create sewing patterns, and the answer is to basically share what you can do with the fabrics. Thanks to all of my pattern supporters... who have worked with me in developing and refining the patterns. Watch the tinagivens.com site for pattern upgrades, revisions and updates.... We're always looking for ways to improve on our patterns so let us know what you think? we'd love to hear!

I just wanted to tell you that I love your designs. The favorite outfits I have made for my daughter are with your fabrics. Thank you for your inspiration.
Would love to share her pic with you in an outfit with your fabric one day.

I absolutely adore your fabrics. I am actually holding on to two yards I bought of the fabric in your header...I just can't decide how I want to use such a beautiful print!!! Thank you for your unique designs.

I LOVE your fabrics - love them. I ordered a pattern - Candyland - and am a little disappointed. I definitely need at least a drawing of each finished piece, front and back, to help me visualize the very general instruction offered. I know how to read a pattern, and I know how to sew, but I am almost clueless as to how to even begin on this one. PLEASE post pics or drawings for guidance, and please include them in future patterns. The outfit is so very cute, and I am saddened to think that I cannot begin the project without additional instruction. Thanks!

I love your Candyland pattern--I am making multiples for Christmas for my granddaughter. But I would second the comment of Anonymous--drawings would be very helpful. I had no problem with the coat, tunic/dress or pants, but the apron has me flummoxed! The directions have me very confused. A simple sketch would be much better. I would also love to see examples of different variations made up. This is a really fun pattern.

It won't succeed as a matter of fact, that's exactly what I think.
